Our review

I think the idea of Slapstick Fighter is really cool. The motions are very intuitive, and it is fun to play on a smaller device too. You can get started right away. Nice visuals, nice little effects. Overall I really like it.

Setting up two players could not be easier. You both play directly on the touchscreen, no controllers, no pairing. We played both the co-op campaign and versus. On a tablet there is plenty of room for four thumbs. On a phone I can imagine it gets a bit tight.

What really bums me out is the huge ad wall. Each time you want to play a new round, you essentially have to watch an ad that takes longer than the round itself. That is why my fun score is only a five.
