What we collect and how
You can read every page without telling us who you are. We do not ask for a name, an email address or an account. The only personal information that reaches us is what your browser sends automatically, and what you write if you send us an email.
Hosting: Cloudflare
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. To send you a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and technical details of your browser, and keeps short-lived logs to protect the site against attacks. Cloudflare serves pages from data centres close to you, which can be outside the European Union. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Play test videos on game pages are files on video.coopmobilegames.com, which is also delivered by Cloudflare. A video loads only when you press play. No other video service is involved.
Statistics: Matomo
We use Matomo, an open source web analytics tool, to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. We use the hosted version, Matomo Cloud, provided by InnoCraft Ltd, Wellington, New Zealand, which processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The servers are located in Frankfurt, Germany. The data belongs to us. It is not sold, not passed on to other third parties and not combined with data from other websites. The tracking script itself is loaded from Matomo's content delivery network (cdn.matomo.cloud), which receives your IP address in order to deliver the file. The European Commission has recognised New Zealand as providing an adequate level of data protection.
Matomo is set up to work without cookies. Nothing is stored on your device. Instead it uses a digital fingerprint: a hash value generated from technical data such as your shortened IP address, browser and operating system. The hash cannot be traced back to reveal the original data, and it is renewed every 24 hours, so you cannot be recognised from one day to the next.
What is recorded: pages viewed, the time of the visit, the site or search you came from, clicks on links to the app stores, which game you open from a list, which list filters and sort order you choose, how far down a list or page you scroll, whether a page stays open for one minute and for three minutes, the type of device and browser, and the country derived from the shortened IP address.

Game icons and store screenshots: Apple
App icons, and the one App Store screenshot shown at the top of a game page, are loaded directly from servers of Apple Inc. and are not stored on this site. When a page with these images loads, Apple receives your IP address and the usual technical details of your browser. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing which game is meant, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Links to stores and sources
Links to the App Store, Google Play and to the pages we cite are plain links. Nothing is sent to those sites until you click one. From then on their own privacy policies apply. We carry no affiliate links and receive nothing when you click.
If you write to us
Emails to hello@coopmobilegames.com are received through Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to the operator's mailbox. We use your address and your message only to answer you and to handle your request, for example a correction or the removal of a listing. Messages are deleted once the matter is closed and no later than twelve months after the last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering requests.
What we do not do
No cookies, no advertising, no newsletter, no comment forms, no user accounts, no profiling, no automated decisions, no sale or rental of data. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have its processing restricted, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@coopmobilegames.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection, uoou.gov.cz. Since we keep no profile of visitors, there is normally nothing to hand over.
Security
All pages are served over an encrypted connection. The site consists of static pages with no database and no login, which leaves very little to attack. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
