Poor Bunny!

Can two people play Poor Bunny! on one screen?
Yes. Two players can play Poor Bunny! co-op on one iPad: same screen.
A one-screen platformer where a bunny grabs carrots and dodges traps. With a friend you work together in co-op or compete in versus.
How you play together
- Shared touchscreen
- Controller and touch
Both players use on-screen buttons on the same screen.
How to start co-op in Poor Bunny!
- Choose two players in the main menu.
- Both players can play on the touchscreen, each with their own arrow buttons along the bottom.
- Or connect one controller: one player uses it, the other stays on the touchscreen. Jumping is on up, so with the stick you jump a lot by accident. The d-pad works better.
- We did not manage to connect a second controller for two players.

Worth knowing
Players report that sharing a phone screen is cramped. A tablet is the better fit.
Our review
I love the retro style of Poor Bunny!, and I love that it is free and you can just start playing.
We played directly on the screen first. It is cool that two players can share the screen at all, but it gets a bit tight, especially on an iPhone. On a tablet it was okay.
It turns out you can connect a controller, but it is a bit counterintuitive: jumping is on the up button, so with the joystick you end up jumping a lot by accident. Left and right plus A or B for jumping would be much nicer. Unfortunately we did not manage to connect a second controller for two players. So one of us played with the controller and the other on the screen, which already makes it a bit easier.
I think the game has potential for more points, but with the current one-screen setup for co-op, it is not ideal.
It does have ads, but they are optional: only if you want to keep going after losing, you can watch one for an extra life. That is really fair.
I liked it as a mini game. I would not come back to it for co-op play, though.
