Our review

Connecting a second controller in Blackmoor 2 is very easy. You essentially just switch it on and choose your character.

It is a classic hack and slash beat ’em up, and the hits feel very satisfying. I like the art style and I like the mechanics. Still, I did not get a lot of uniqueness out of it. For me personally it is nothing special, and there are many, many games like this. Maybe I did not give it enough of a chance. I cannot say that I dislike it, though.

It is definitely easy to play with two. One thing to know: when one player dies, they stay dead until the other player dies too, and then you both restart at the checkpoint.
